UP Police Files Criminal FIR Against Google Maps Officials

In a heart-wrenching accident  three lives were lost when a car plunged into the Ramganga River in Bareilly. The incident occurred on the Khalpur-Dataganj road after the vehicle unknowingly ventured onto a partially collapsed bridge, misled by an outdated navigation system.

The victims were en route from Bareilly to Dataganj in Badaun district when their journey took a devastating turn. Circle Officer Ashutosh Shivam revealed that earlier this year, severe floods had caused a significant portion of the bridge to crumble into the river. Tragically, the damage had not been updated in navigation databases, leaving the unsuspecting driver to rely on faulty directions.
